WordPress has just announced the integration of the PayPal button to be able to sell your products and services, in an easy way.
At the moment, this functionality will only be available to WordPress Premium customers ( Only available for WordPress.com users ) ($8.25 / month) and Business ($24.92 / month), but hopefully soon it would become a freely usable tool for any WordPress user.
When creating a post, you will have the option of including a PayPal button. Below the title, you will find an icon with a plus sign inside. Clicking on it will give you the option to add the PayPal button.
It will ask for a photo of the item you want to sell, the name of the product, a brief description, the selling price, plus the email address associated with the PayPal account.
A very simple process.
When a user clicks the PayPal button, the payment will be processed by PayPal.
This new functionality will create many opportunities to promote ecommerce, making it easier to sell products and services.
